Master of Arts in Special Education

The end is finally here!  Today I graduated from the College of Charleston with my Master of Arts in Special Education with a focus in emotional disabilities.  It has been a busy 1.5 years getting this degree.  And as been likes to joke, I went through 3 cycles of stress because I always stress out at the end of the semester because it seems like so much and then usually get it all done early.  I guess that's just me, but it all worked out in the end.

We are going to be the first and only class to finish the degree in 1.5 years because they will no longer be offering that option.  Personally I count it a blessing to have been able to finish it so quick because, with a baby coming in February, I am not sure what I would have done if I still had a semester left to go.  God's timing was definitely perfect and now I have a degree that I gained a lot of valuable experience through and will hopefully someday use.  However, at least for the next few years, I will simply be applying what I have learned toward being a mommy for a while.  We shall see where things go from there! :-)

We went out to Mellow Mushroom, my favorite pizza place, to celebrate afterwards.
